Trying to understand what is happening beyond our knowledge limits...

Many questions could interest the curiosity of the researcher inside his personal field/box of interest, leading him to try making an effort to understand what is happening inside that field/box of interest...
When he manages to understand some of the related theories, he may experience a great feeling of success. That is good… However, when he raises his eyes above the limits of his box of interest, he may experience a strange feeling of sadness due to the ignorance about what could exist outside that box.
But since he decided to raise his eyes (towards the huge universe), that is far better…

Researchers Talking about the Universe

What do scientists think on the origin of the Universe?
Prof. John F. Ashton (from University of Sydney), said: [There is scientific evidence proving evolution cannot be responsible for life on Earth]. He explained that the chance to get the universe obtained by chance is extremely week: 10-150 = 0.0000000000000...1 with 150 zeros before the 1 digit. Again, Prof. Stephen Hawking (from Cambridge University), said: [I think there are clearly religious implications whenever you start to discuss the origins of the universe]. And the savant Albert Einstein said [Science without religion is lame ], showing the great importance of both when dealing with the problem of the Universe origin.
On the other hand, when one looks at the content of the holy Quran, we may find many responses to our curiosity, as Dr Maurice Bucaille explicitly mentioned: [it is inconceivable for a human being living in the seventh century A.D. to have made statements in the Qur’an on a great variety of subjects that do not belong to his period ...
For me there can be no human explanation to the Qur’an] said Dr Maurice Bucaille.

Research fields and Teaching Courses

Prof Halim Sayoud began working in the field of Microprocessors during his bachelor degree. During his Magister thesis he was interested by the pitch extraction from the speech signal. His PhD thesis, which was completed in 2003, concerned the automatic speaker recognition field. In 2008, he began to explore new research fields such as: Text-Mining, Computational Linguistics, Astronomy, and the Analysis of Religious Books. From 2016, he has been interested in the scientific analysis and exploration of ancient manuscripts. Teaching and Courses: Signal processing, Microprocessors, Speech processing and Coding, Information theory.

Strangely, by counting the occurence number of the word "Month" in the Quran we find exactly 12 occurences (but really, there are 12 months per year). We present some related works on the appraisement of the Soul and on the reduction of anxiety, based on the reading or listening of the holy Quran. The reported results of those research works have shown that the Quran does have a real impact on the reduction of anxiety by treating negative psychological feelings and depressive disorders.

We conducted several experiments ofAuthorship discrimination on the Quran and Hadith using Visual Analytical clustering techniques.Results display 2 separate author clusters, showing that the Quran could not be written by the Prophet. More details.

Ancient Quran from the 1st Century, published in 2018

We have been surprised to find some old folios dating from the early first century of Hijra (few years after the Prophet death): one from Birmingham University and another one from Sanaa (one of the oldest Quranic manuscripts in existence), where the textual content is amazingly identical. Moreover, the skeletal morphology of those Quranic documents is similar to the present Quran. Reed the Article.

Ancient Book from 1926 of Al-Haffaf, Found in 2019

This old book of Al-Haffaf, written in French in 1926, is entitled: "Introduction à l'étude de l'Islam". Itcontains precious information on the Islam origin and debates important questions in a philosophical point of view. I found this old book in2019 (See some pages).

Latest Work in Quran Authorship Analysis (Leave-One-Out Technique), 2017

We have conducted several experiments of Authorship discrimination on the Quran and Hadith using the Leave-One-Out classification. Results show a significant difference between the Author's style of the Quran and the Prophet's style.For more details click here.

Last-Prophet Meaning and Prediction of Muhammad in Ancient Religious Books

According to the holy Quran, it is well known that Muhammad is considered as the last Prophet sent by Allah (God): what does it mean? Moreover, some ancient prophecies, about the apparition of the Prophet Muhammad, were reported in several ancient religious books - This is really impressive and awesome.

The latest research work in the field of authorship discrimination betweenthe Quran and Hadith (August 2020) has been submitted for publication. More news will be given inshaa Allah.

Number of Months and Days in the Quran: "An Enigma".

In the Quran, it is stated that the number of months (per year) is 12, as quoted in the verse [9-36]: "إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السماوات والأرض" Translation: ["The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth"]. But strangely, by counting the occurence number of the word "Month" in the Quran we find exactly 12 occurences (cited 12 times in the Quran). Again, if we count the number of "Day" in the Quran we find exactly 365 occurences (cited 365 times in the Quran), which is equal to the real number of days per year. Really, it is a fascinating enigma.

Was the holy Quran invented by the Prophet or sent down to him by God?

Published in LLC Oxford journal in 2012. Title: Author Discrimination between the Holy Quran and Prophet’s Statements, Pages 427-444, Vol. 27,No. 4, 2012. In this research work, we deal with a religious enigma, which has not been solved for fourteen hundred years. In fact, some doubts on the origins of the Holy Quran do exist and some persons thought that the Holy Quran could be an invention of the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). Hence, knowing that authors possess specific stylistic features that make them differentiable, we tried to make some experiments of author discrimination between 2 books: the Quran and Hadith (Prophet’s statements) in order to see whether the Quran could be written by the Prophet Muhammad or not. Thus, three series of experiments are done and commented on. -The first series of experiments analyses the two books in a global form: it concerns 9 experiments. -The second series of experiments analyses the two books in a segmental form: it concerns 5 experiments. -The third series of experiments makes an automatic authorship attribution of the two books in a segmental form by employing several classifiers and several types of features. This investigation sheds light on an old enigma, which has not been solved for 14 centuries: in fact, all the results of this investigation have shown that “The 2 books (Quran and Hadith) come from 2 different Authors and that the holy Quran could not be written or dictated by the Prophet”.

The Quran has been safely preserved for 14 centuries.

This comparative investigation on the Birmingham Quran (carbone-dated to the period of the Prophet's companions) and the present Quran shows a similarity of about 100%. Hence, It has been safely preserved.

An interesting verse leading to some reflections

An interesting verse (41:53) involves the curiosity of the researchers on the origin of the universe and ourselves. Translation: "We shall show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is the witness of all things?" (41:53)

Deep words from Allah...[ إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار لآيات لأولي الألباب ]. Translation: “In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for people with intelligence”[Quran 3:190].

Some words of the French Scientist Maurice Bucaille

The above observation makes the hypothesis advanced by those who see Muhammad as the author of the Qur’an quite untenable. How could a man, from being illiterate, become the most important author, in terms of literary merit, in the whole of Arabic literature? How could he then pronounce truths of a scientific nature that no other human being could possibly have developed at the time, and all this without once making the slightest error in his pronouncements in the subject? The ideas in this study are developed from a purely scientific point of view. They lead to the conclusion that it is inconceivable for a human being living in the seventh century A.D. to have made statements int he Qur’an on a great variety of subjects that do not belong to his period and for them to be in keeping with what was to be known only centuries later. For me there can be no human explanation to the Qur’an.

Enigma about a defiant and challenging verse of the holy Quran

This verse represents a strong defiance and challenge to the human beings stating that no one can produce a book similar or at least comparable to the holy Quran
- قل لئن اجتمعت الإنس والجن على أن يأتوا بمثل هذا القرءان لا يأتون بمثله ولو كان بعضهملبعض ظهيرا - Translation: (Say: If all human beings and all invisible beings (Jinns) would come together with a view to producing a book similar to this Qur'an, they could not produce its like even though they were to exert all their strength in aiding one another.) [17:88]. By analyzing this verse, one can notice a strange mathematical harmony with the general signature found in the holy Quran: the mysterious number 19 (ref.: Kaheel reports). Hence, the number of words= “19” and the number of different alphabetical characters= “19”.

Another defiant and challenging verse of the holy Quran

This second verse also represents a strong defiance and challenge tothe human beings stating that if the holy Quran was written by other than God (Allah), we would certainly find many contradictions and errors in it. أفلا يتدبرون القرءان ولو كان من عند غير الله لوجدوا فيه اختلافا كثيرا Translation: (Will they not then study the Quran carefully? If it had been from other than God, they would have found in it many contradictions) [4:82]. Once again, by analyzing this verse, we can notice a strange mathematical harmony with the general signature found in the holy Quran: the mysterious number 19 (ref. Sayoud statistics, March 2015). Hence, the number of different alphabetical characters= “19”, the total number of characters in the verse= 57 = “19”x3.

New discoveries about the Mystery of number 7 in the holy Quran (discovered in April 2015)

Several research reports noticed that number 7 seems to be strangely present several times inside the mathematical structure of the holy Quran. This may be seen as a hidden signature in the holy Quran that could be used for authentication. After a statistical analysis of the entire book (we apologise for any unintentional error), we found that:
-The most frequent word/token (in the Quran) is the coordination conjunction "Wa" (pronounced Waw) meaning “And” in English. The occurrence of the coordination conjunction “Waw” represents approximately 11% of the total words/tokens of the holy Quran. We strangely noticed that its total number of occurrence (without prefix) in the Ibnu-Katheer narration, is a multiple of 7,namely: 9534 =2x3x7x227 (N.B. its computation is extremely difficult).
-The second most frequent word in the holy Quran is the preposition “Min” , meaning “from/ some/ part of/ than” in English. We strangely noticed that its total occurrence number when it is used alone: is 2366= 7x338 (multiple of seven). Again, if we count its occurrences when it is used with or without suffixes, we also get a multiple of 7, namely: 2870 =7x410.
-The third most frequent word in the holy Quran is the name of God «Allah». This Divine name has 3 morphological forms in the holy Quran: a)«Allahee» spelled « Allahee » with a count of 1127=7x7x23, b) «Allahu» spelled «Allahu» with a count of 980=7x7x20, and c) «Allaha» spelled « Allaha ». Again, surprised by this mystery with many other keywords, we present their occurrences as follows: New Mystery of number 7.

New other discovery about the Mystery of number 7 (discovered in September 2016)

After a thorough investigation on the occurrences of the word "رب", meaning Lord/ God in the holly Quran, we found that: -The total number of this word in the text= 971 -The number of this word with the meaning of God= 966=7x3x2x23, which is a multiple of 7.

Earth Rotation in the Quran

It is well-known that the first person who discovered that the earth rotates around its axis was Copernicus(16th century). Prior to that, scholars thought that the earth was immobile.However, when we read the holy Quran, we see that it clearly speaks about the earth movement.Hence, in the Ant verse (verse number 27), Allah says:
وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَاجَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ (النمل) -Translation: “You see the mountains and think that they are immobile and fixed in place while they are in movement like the clouds. This is the work of God who perfected all things, and verily He is aware of what you do.” (27:88) . This verse speaks about the mountains movement although we all imagine them to be still and fixed at first impression. It also informs us that they are moving like the clouds (see, below, the NASA video showing the movement of the mountains/earth and a Real video showing the movement of the clouds). Consequently, since the scientific community was mistaken before the 16th century, it is clear that this very ancient information represents a miracle. [NASA Mountains Movement] [Clouds Movement]

Expansion of the Universe in the Quran (NASA courtesy)

The discovery of Edwin Hubble stating that the Universe is expanding at enormous speed was revolutionary. He noted that galaxies were all moving away from us,each at a speed proportional to its distance from us. Today, several NASA spacecrafts continue Hubble's work of measuring the expansion of the Universe [reference NASA]. So, the Universe expansion theory is proved scientifically: it is called BigBang, but the problem is that there are unknown forces at work we do not understand at all [video reference: Teachers-TV]. Some fascinating evidences on the expansion of the Universe are present in the holy Quran: see the verse [51:47]:
والسماء بنيناها بأيد وإنا لموسعون -Translation: "And it is We who have built the universe with (Our creative) power; and, verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it ". In fact,this verse clearly states that the Universe is continuously expanding, which is in total confirmation and concordance with that new discovery. That is, how could the Prophet know that scientific discovery 14 centuries ago?

Some strange objects in the universe were recently discovered, as the bubble nebula, which present a mysterious bubble in its center; it looks like a soap bubble. It is supposed to be blown by the wind from a massive star and also called: NGC-7635, it is also known simply as The Bubble Nebula. At the right top of the Bubble's center, there is a very hot O star represented by a small point in the image. This visually small point is several hundred thousand times more luminous and about 45 times more massive than the Sun (ref.NASA). Photo provided by D. About Earth's Temperature

What should happen if the distance between the earth and sun decreases? and what if it increases? Obviously, there will be no life for us to talk about this, in both cases, but let us explore both cases: [read the research paper].

-A Scientific Evidence on the Sun Movement in the Holy Quran

Even though the scientific community thought that the Sun was the center ofthe Universe and that it was immobile until the 17th century, it has been clearly stated in the holy Quran, 14 centuries before, that it does really move in the Universe by respecting a precise orbit that was well defined (by the Creator); and in perfect concordance with thelatest discoveries. See the video (ESA courtesy). Hence, we can retrieve the related information in the following verse[36:38]:
والشمس تجري لمستقر لها ذلك تقدير العزيز العليم -This verse can be translated into: “And the Sun moves for the fixed/stable course (orbit) assigned for it. That is the decree/design of the Almighty, the All-Knowing” [36:38]. See the video (ESA courtesy).

Strange Polarity Inversion in the Sun and Earth: Consequences on the Earth Rotation

Recently, scientists revealed that the sun and earth have reversed their magnetic polarities (i.e. North becomes south and vice-versa). Another strange fact is that all the solar planets and even the sun itself spin in the opposite direction of the clock (i.e. counter-clockwise), except Venus, which has an abnormal rotation (reversed rotation) leading to see the sun rising from the west. Some reflections argue that the same phenomenon (reverse rotation) could happen to the earth leading to see the sun rising from the west one day. This investigation examines the possibilities of such an inversion and the scientific analysis of the prediction of the Prophet on the matter.
